ERG is seeking an experienced Tech Lead Software Engineer to independently develop and lead software projects focused on microservices architecture, Python programming, and cloud solutions. Job Description: • Lead the development and implementation of software solutions using microservices architecture • Bridge the gap between architectural vision and practical implementation • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications (Python and Google Cloud Platform preferred) • Prepare technical design documents and specifications • Conduct technical reviews of software design packages created by others to ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations, as well as end-user requirements • Support the software development process from concept through delivery of the completed solution • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other stakeholders, both internal and external, and the development team (e.g., engineering department, IT department) • Serve as a technical lead in product impact division Qualifications and Skills: • A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering is required; 10+ years is preferred • At least five years of experience with microservices architecture and Python programming • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions • Highly proficient in design patterns, software architecture principles and dev-tooling • Ability to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment $150,000 - $180,000 a year ERG offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a generous 401k plan, profit sharing, an EAP, 11-20 paid vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays per year, 56 hours or more of sick leave (based on the state you work in) per year (pro-rated for part-time) and more.
