This role involves taking a leadership position in managing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with safety standards on all projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in safety engineering and a keen understanding of project management consultancy. As a part of our independent Talent Acquisition Consultancy, you will play a crucial role in enhancing safety measures while working collaboratively with various teams to ensure the well-being of all personnel. Responsibilities • Lead the development and implementation of safety management systems and programs. • Conduct comprehensive safety audits and risk assessments on various projects. • Oversee incident investigations, analyzing data to improve safety performance. • Provide expert advice on safety regulations and best practices to project management teams. • Prepare and deliver safety training sessions for employees and contractors. • Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, suggesting improvements where necessary. • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. • Minimum of 15 years of experience in safety engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior role within PMC. • Strong knowledge of safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards. • Proven experience in conducting safety audits and risk assessments. • Excellent leadership and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure. • Certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are highly desirable.
