Era Living is seeking a full-time Administrative Services Director to become the newest member of our Community Leadership team located in Aljoya Thornton Place Community, Seattle, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Monday - Friday from 09:00am - 05:30pm. Occasional weekend work required. This individual will coordinate office services, records control, and special projects, organize and administer the business and administrative office. Needs to be able to work occasional weekends and on call for Reception staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Billing and Accounts Receivable • Calculate and generate monthly statements • Process payments • Respond to billing questions • Accounts Payable • Review, code and submit invoices for payment • Credit card reconciliation • Supervise front desk employees • Interview, hire and onboard staff • Create 24/7 schedule • Assign and direct work, set team priorities • Compliance • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures • Train cross-departmental employees Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Experience with timekeeping systems and basic HR functions, preferred • Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all residents, employees, family members, senior management, and visitors • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple projects • Knowledge of accounting and human resource principles • Computer literacy with experience using Word and Excel • Ability to read, write and communicate in English • Ability to pass DSHS background check, required Education and Experience: • Two year Associate Degree and/or three years or more years’ experience in office management; including bookkeeping • Supervisory experience, preferred About Era Living: If you are passionate about improving the quality of life for older adults and exemplify a values based approach to your work, demonstrating integrity, credibility, consistency, strong team orientation, and outstanding communication, we welcome your application!
