Key Responsibilities • General Repairs: Performing simple repairs on appliances, doors, windows, and furniture. • Plumbing & Electrical: Fixing leaky faucets and performing minor electrical repairs. • Painting & Decorating: Painting interior and exterior surfaces, applying wallpaper, and staining. • Carpentry & Installation: Assembling furniture and installing fixtures such as shelves, curtains, and cabinets. • Exterior Maintenance: Maintaining gardens, lawns, and gutters, and cleaning exterior surfaces. • Equipment Use: Operating various hand and power tools, and sometimes specialized equipment for cleaning or maintenance. Required Skills & Qualifications • English Speaker with a Reliable Vehicle and Tools • Technical Skills: Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools. • System Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues and complete tasks with minimal supervision. • Soft Skills: Good communication skills and attention to detail. • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. • Experience: Proven experience in similar roles and maintenance work.
