Job Summary The Senior Manager, Product Marketing leads integrated marketing strategies for assigned products or product lines within a broader portfolio. This role is responsible for product positioning, go-to-market execution, sales enablement, competitive differentiation, and commercialization support. The Senior Manager partners closely with Product, Sales, Channel, and Marketing teams to translate product strategy into clear, compelling market messaging and drive adoption and business results. Responsibilities Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Lead product positioning, messaging, and value proposition development Drive go-to-market execution in partnership with Product, Sales, Channel, and Marketing Support route-to-market strategies across direct, indirect, and digital channels Ensure development of high-impact product content, sales collateral, and enablement assets Portfolio, Roadmap & Commercialization Drive awareness and adoption for assigned products within the broader portfolio Contextualize product roadmaps within portfolio and market narratives Track product performance against forecasts and commercialization objectives Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and recommend corrective actions Competitive & Market Insights Lead competitive intelligence and market research efforts Synthesize insights into actionable positioning and proof points Maintain deep understanding of customer needs and competitive dynamics Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a team of product marketing professionals Own performance management, talent development, and GPS processes for direct reports Model company culture and values Content Creation & Collaboration Collaborate with internal Creative Teams to develop engaging and impactful marketing content. Partner with external analysts and agencies to ensure alignment with market trends and industry standards. Oversee the creation of high-quality content that supports product positioning and go-to-market strategies. Partner with senior and peer stakeholders across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Channels Influence alignment through insights, data, and clear recommendations Communicate effectively across disciplines and levels Resource, Budget & Process Management Manage budgets and resources for assigned initiatives Partner with project managers to track resource allocation and utilization Implement and reinforce marketing processes, policies, and standards Drive continuous improvement across tools, workflows, and execution Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred 15+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, marketing, or related roles Proven experience leading and developing professional-level teams Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder influence skills The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: United States - CA Bay Area : 186,000 - 280,000 USD / Annual United States - CA Non-Bay Area, AK, CT, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, VA, WA : 171,000 - 257,000 USD / Annual United States - Other posted locations not specifically listed : 155,000 - 233,000 USD / Annual Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
