Job Role: Plan, prioritize, and manage 5–7 concurrent IT infrastructure projects Establish and maintain an IT project portfolio with clear prioritization and resource planning Lead projects across networking, servers, virtualization, endpoint management, security, and IT operations Actively engage with technical teams to validate task sequencing and identify risks Deliver concise, one-page portfolio and project status reporting to leadership Support IT process maturity where applicable (incident, change, service management) Requirements: Senior-level IT Project Management experience Prior hands-on experience in IT Operations Strong infrastructure knowledge (VMWare, Citrix, Windows, networking, storage) Ability to speak credibly with engineers and challenge execution plans Hybrid PM methodology experience (Waterfall + Agile where appropriate) Required Technical Baseline: Virtualization: VMWare (required), Citrix or similar (required) Networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, ports (conceptual) Storage & Backup: SAN/NAS, backups; vSAN/VEEAM a plus Windows OS management Databases: SQL concepts (instances, backups, logs) Endpoint / MDM: Intune, PDQ, SCCM (exposure) *This is not a pure PMO or status-only role. The successful candidate must have prior IT Operations experience and enough technical depth to understand infrastructure dependencies, identify risks, and challenge execution plans when needed.
