Program Manager – AI-Enabled Launch Readiness Location: Metro Detroit (Hybrid 4 days onsite Industry: Automotive / Manufacturing / Supplier Readiness We’re looking for a highly driven Program Manager with strong experience in document synthesis, AI tools, and milestone-driven launch readiness to support a major interior commodities program (seating + related components). If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love simplifying complexity, and have a passion for AI adoption—this role is for you. What You’ll Do • Review and consolidate large sets of documents (including 20+ page reports) into clear, action-oriented summaries for leadership. • Stay 3–4 weeks ahead of milestones, tracking risks, gaps, and upcoming deliverables. • Lead and support APQP/PPAP alignment for key program milestones. • Partner with cross-functional teams and supplier leadership to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement. • Assess supplier readiness, manufacturing feasibility, and launch risk for interior commodity programs. • Support crisis management efforts—containment, corrective actions, and supplier recovery when needed. • Analyze performance data and translate insights into recommended actions. What Makes You a Strong Fit • Proven Program or Project Management experience—preferably in automotive, manufacturing, or supplier management. • Ability to read, understand, and distill complex documents into concise summaries. • Strong PowerPoint & Excel skills (tracking, reporting, dashboards). • Highly self-motivated—someone who anticipates needs, digs into data, and stays ahead without waiting for direction. • Experience with interior commodities, supplier readiness, or launch programs is a big plus. • Background in manufacturing, quality, APQP/PPAP, or supplier crisis management is helpful. Nice-to-Have • Understanding of quality and operational expectations (Q1, launch readiness, etc.). • Experience supporting vehicle launch programs or supplier development initiatives.
