Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, up to two years technical security experience, expertise in GenAI security, adversarial AI threats, endpoint and cloud security, and strong communication skills.
AI Security Solution Deployment (Contract – 100% Remote) Location: Remote, company is local to Chicago, IL Job Type: W2 Contract Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift Pay Rate: Starting at $65/hourly Responsibilities: AI Security Platform Implementation • Lead deployment of AI security platforms with emphasis on LLM firewalling and prompt security. • Evaluate and procure tools to support GenAI protection across user and developer environments. Stack-Specific Security Oversight • Endpoint SaaS Applications: • Deploy desktop-level security agents to monitor and control prompt submissions to GenAI platforms (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.). • Ensure curated data is protected and prompt activity is visible and auditable. • Developer Systems Protection: • Implement agentic security capabilities to safeguard developer environments interacting with AI models. • Secure local inference, model training, and prompt engineering workflows. • LLM Inference Firewalling: • Architect and manage security controls for AI inference systems (e.g., Gemini, Claude). • Prevent prompt injection, jailbreak attempts, and adversarial attacks through robust firewalling strategies. Threat Detection & Prevention • Build and maintain detection mechanisms for prompt-based threats, data leakage, and model manipulation. • Integrate with existing security infrastructure for seamless visibility and response. Cross-Team Collaboration • Work closely with Data Security, Cloud Security, and Application Security teams to align AI protection strategies with broader enterprise security goals. Skills Required: • Strong understanding of security policy construction and publication. • Knowledge of regulations (e.g., SOX, privacy) and internal controls as they apply to IT. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively across teams. • Proven ability to manage technical projects to completion. • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and other business-related software systems. • Experience in GenAI security, LLM threat modeling, and prompt injection mitigation. • Hands-on expertise with endpoint security, cloud-native AI platforms, and developer tooling. • Deep understanding of adversarial AI threats, prompt engineering risks, and model governance. • Background in cybersecurity engineering, DevSecOps, or AI/ML infrastructure security. Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. • Typically up to two years of technical experience in security across platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols.
