Employer: Epitec, Inc. Position: J2EE Developer Senior (Job Code: 1368) Duties: Responsible for delivering user-friendly features to meet business demands and needs; collaborate with Product Manager and Business customers to ensure delivery with quality at market speed; address and resolve project requirements; lead the analysis, detail design, development, bug fixing, migration and enhancement of applications; support challenging development assignments related to configuration algorithms and product definition; design, code, and run unit testing using Core Java, Multi-threading, Java concurrency, Shell Scripting, system design ,Spring Framework, and Unix/Linux; develop and maintain backend applications; implement domain-driven design principles to define boundaries and responsibilities of microservices; design and implement asynchronous event processing for improved scalability; utilize and apply knowledge of J2EE, Java, Spring Framework, JDBC, AJAX, JavaScript, ReactJS, AWS, HTML5, Splunk, Hibernate and JPA to perform assigned duties; and design and incorporate test automation strategies for continuous integration and deployment efforts. Location: Southfield, Michigan and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US; Salary: $114,004 per year; Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer and Information Science, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Training: None; Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Sr. Software Developer, as an Associate Software Engineer, as a Senior Java Developer, as a Jr. Java Developer, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of all the following: J2EE, Java, Spring Framework, JDBC, AJAX, JavaScript, ReactJS, AWS, HTML5, Splunk, Hibernate and JPA.
