Employment Type: Full-Time Contract Pay: $40-45 per hour based on benefits Description: We are seeking a Control Design Specialist who will have a focused range of responsibilities as part of a team responsible for identifying risk in the Collections area and driving strategies to manage it. This person will also liaise with the enterprise-wide Legal, Compliance and Corporate Risk functions. Responsibilities: • Risk and Control Management • Ensures effective identification and implementation of controls to manage operational, financial, and compliance risks • Acts as subject matter expert on efficient processes to maintain an accurate library of DNAs risks and controls • Works with partners to develop and execute action plans to resolve issues and prevent recurrence • Support issue management activities within Collections which includes process workflows evaluation, potential control design gaps identification and communication, and discussion of enhancements and implementing these processes Requirements: • 8-10 years of experience in Risk and Controls • Experience as a Business Process Analyst, Business Risk Control Analyst • Strong leadership skills • Analytical and critical thinking skills • Business acumen problem-solving skills • Demonstrated effective time management • Demonstrated strong issue management skills • Ability to manage effective challenge processes • Understanding of risk taxonomy, risk identification, and assessment methodology
