Location: Hybrid Dearborn, MI - 4 days onsite Looking for a highly organized, proactive Jira power user who can bring structure to a fast-moving product organization. The ideal candidate combines backlog management, roadmap planning, release tracking, dashboard/reporting expertise, process improvement, and stakeholder communication skills. This person should be able to recommend better ways of working, implement them, and help drive delivery across multiple concurrent products • Supports 5 different products, including a mix of: • Full-stack product applications • Dashboard/reporting projects • Lean team environment with a lot of competing priorities and customer requests. • Looking for someone who can help manage the chaos, create structure, and keep multiple initiatives moving forward. • Significant volume of customer feedback and requests that need to be evaluated, prioritized, and incorporated into the backlog. What Success Looks Like This person will be much more than a Project Coordinator and not a traditional Project Manager. They Will • Own and maintain backlog health across multiple products. • Bring organization and discipline to work management. • Help prioritize incoming requests and customer feedback. • Keep teams aligned, projects on track, and dependencies visible. • Recommend and implement better ways of managing work. • Drive efficiency through process improvements and automation. • Help leadership make informed decisions using actionable metrics and reporting. • Be proactive and strategic rather than simply providing status updates. Jira Expertise is Critical Jason is looking for someone with advanced Jira skills, not just basic user experience. Key Areas Include • Backlog management and prioritization • Jira Timeline / Advanced Roadmaps • Release tracking and release management • Dashboard creation and reporting • Jira automation • Creating actionable metrics and compliance reporting • Improving overall Jira adoption and efficiency • Using Jira strategically to manage delivery and planning, not simply updating tickets Key Responsibilities Beyond Jira • Hybrid role combining aspects of: • Technical Product Coordinator • Project/Program Management • Operations & Process Improvement • Organize and streamline team workflows. • Help identify better approaches for managing projects and initiatives. • Ingest and utilize data more effectively. • Recommend improvements and drive implementation. • May participate in customer-facing meetings and discussions. • Translate customer feedback into actionable work items.
