About the Position: The Director of Growth Strategy is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the Strategic Business Unit’s (SBU) by leading business development and proposal strategy efforts. This role partners closely with senior leadership to translate growth priorities into actionable plans, evaluate new market and service opportunities, and support targeted business development efforts. The Director leads and supports teams across the full business development lifecycle, ensuring growth initiatives are implemented effectively, scaled appropriately, and reinforced through strong internal and external relationships. What You’ll Do: Provide strategic leadership to the Business Development and proposal functions, fostering a high-performance culture, accountability, and consistent quality across the opportunity lifecycle. Develop and execute growth initiatives aligned with SBU objectives, including market expansion, service line growth, and targeted client opportunities, informed by market and competitive analysis. Lead the full business development lifecycle, including opportunity identification, qualification, client engagement, and proposal development, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals. Collaborate with Operations, Client Services, and Recruitment teams to ensure new business opportunities are feasible, appropriately scoped, and effectively transitioned for successful execution. Oversee proposal development and contracting coordination, partnering with Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure submissions are competitive, compliant, and executable. Track performance of growth initiatives and supported business development efforts, providing insights, reporting, and recommendations to senior leadership. Provide guidance, coaching, and development to BD and proposal support team members, promoting strong collaboration, accountability, and consistent execution. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. Seven years of experience in business development, including experience in a leadership role. Prior experience in healthcare staffing or consulting services preferred. Familiarity with the industry in which the SBU operates, including market trends, competitors, and client challenges, is beneficial. Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and job’s impact to the organization. Grasp the external political, economic, competitive, and social factors affecting the industry. Reach mutually satisfying agreements and compromises. Present self as a positive representative of the organization. Create a motivating climate, achieve teamwork, train, and develop, measure work in progress, take corrective action. Guide and encourage others to accomplish a common goal. Comprehend the organization as a system of integrated and interdependent functions. Work skillfully with politics, procedures, and protocols across organizational levels and boundaries. Prioritize the use of fiscal and material resources to maximize organizational performance. Define, assess, and improve operational processes and workflow. Engage effectively in dialogue. Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 Annually Director of Growth Strategy Full Job Description The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
