Job Title: Assistant Director, IPS Employment Services Company Overview: Envision Unlimited, established in 1948 in Chicago, is a leading provider of comprehensive care and support services for individuals with disabilities, from infancy through to 80 years of age. Role Overview: As the Assistant Director of IPS Employment Services, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our employment programs designed to support individuals with disabilities in achieving meaningful employment. You will work closely with the Director to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, foster community partnerships, and lead a dedicated team to meet organizational goals. What You'll Do: - You will assist in managing day-to-day operations of the IPS Employment Services program. - You will supervise and support employment specialists and staff to ensure effective service delivery. - You will develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and community partners to expand job opportunities. - You will monitor program performance and implement improvements to meet quality standards. - You will contribute to strategic planning and program development initiatives. - You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and funding requirements. - You will provide training and professional development opportunities for staff. - You will participate in outreach and advocacy efforts to promote employment services. What You Bring: - You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in employment services or related fields. - You possess strong leadership and team management skills. - You have experience working with individuals with disabilities and knowledge of IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model. - You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - You are proficient in program management and data analysis. - You hold a relevant bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with grant writing and funding management. - Familiarity with local labor market trends and employer networks. - Certification in vocational rehabilitation or related credentials. - Bilingual abilities or experience working in diverse communities.
