Role Overview: As the Assistant Director of IPS Employment Services, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our employment programs designed to support individuals with disabilities in achieving meaningful employment. You will work closely with the Director to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, foster community partnerships, and lead a dedicated team to meet organizational goals. What You'll Do: - You will assist in managing daily operations of the IPS Employment Services program to ensure effective service delivery. - You will supervise and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. - You will collaborate with community partners, employers, and stakeholders to expand employment opportunities. - You will monitor program outcomes and prepare reports to inform continuous improvement. - You will contribute to strategic planning and development of innovative employment initiatives. - You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and funding requirements. - You will advocate for individuals with disabilities to promote inclusive hiring practices. - You will participate in budget management and resource allocation. What You Bring: - You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in employment services, preferably within disability support or social services. - You possess strong leadership and team management skills. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - You are knowledgeable about IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model and employment best practices. - You have experience with program evaluation and data-driven decision making. - You hold a relevant degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competency. - Familiarity with grant writing and funding acquisition. - Certification in vocational rehabilitation or related credentials. - Proficiency in using case management software and data tracking tools.
