Role Overview: The Assistant Director of IPS Employment Services plays a critical role in overseeing and enhancing our employment programs designed to empower individuals with disabilities. This leadership position focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based employment services that promote independence and community integration. What You'll Do: - You will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the IPS Employment Services program. - You will support the development and implementation of strategic plans to expand employment opportunities. - You will supervise and mentor employment specialists and staff to ensure effective service delivery. - You will collaborate with community partners, employers, and stakeholders to build strong employment networks. - You will monitor program outcomes and prepare reports to ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements. - You will contribute to staff training and professional development initiatives. - You will advocate for individuals with disabilities to promote inclusive hiring practices. What You Bring: - You have at least 5 years of experience in employment services or related fields, preferably with a focus on individuals with disabilities. - You possess strong leadership and team management skills. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - You are knowledgeable about IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model and evidence-based employment practices. - You have experience with program evaluation and reporting. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within non-profit organizations. - Familiarity with local and federal disability employment regulations. - Background in social work, rehabilitation counseling, or related disciplines. - Bilingual abilities or experience working with diverse populations.
