Role Overview: The Assistant Director of IPS Employment Services plays a critical role in overseeing and advancing our employment programs designed to empower individuals with disabilities. This leadership position focuses on managing program operations, supporting staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based employment services. What You'll Do: - You will assist in managing daily operations of the IPS Employment Services program to ensure effective service delivery. - You will support and supervise employment specialists and staff, fostering professional development and team collaboration. - You will monitor program outcomes and compliance with funding and regulatory requirements. - You will collaborate with community partners and employers to expand employment opportunities. - You will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance program growth. - You will participate in data collection and reporting to support continuous quality improvement. - You will assist in budget management and resource allocation for the employment services department. - You will advocate for individuals with disabilities to promote inclusive employment practices. What You Bring: - You have at least 5 years of experience in employment services or related social services, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. - You possess strong knowledge of IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model and evidence-based employment practices. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. - You are proficient in program management, data analysis, and reporting. - You demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. - You hold a relevant bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a nonprofit social service environment. - Familiarity with funding sources and compliance requirements related to employment programs. - Skills in grant writing and fundraising. - Bilingual abilities or experience working in multicultural settings.
