Lead and execute change management strategies and communication plans to support project adoption and stakeholder alignment.
Requires 5+ years operational change management experience, leadership skills, and strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Job Description: • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities; Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative • Lead and support communication and learning efforts; Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications to create awareness, proactively manage resistance to change, and drive end user readiness; Ensure consistency within the messaging across the transformation efforts • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve alignment of change scope, as well as develop and execute change, communication, and training strategy and plans • Assess and communicate change impacts; Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders • Create and implement change management strategies and tactics that maximize adoption and minimize resistance for specific initiatives including, but not limited to: • Change impact and readiness assessments • Stakeholder maps and analysis • Communication plans including the change “story” and the “why” behind the change • Resistance management plans • Audience impact analysis and readiness assessments • Measure change effectiveness and monitor progress • Consultation and coaching of project teams and leaders • Navigation of cross-functional teams • Measure and monitor change: status reporting, providing visibility on status against milestones, and transparency of risks and issues • Keep abreast of current change management practices and being both an advocate and thought leader for the discipline Requirements: • Recognized Change Management accreditation (i.e. APMG, Prosci) strongly preferred • Bachelor's degree from four-year college/university or extensive specialized training in related field • 5 or more years of Operational Change Management experience • 3-5 years of prior experience in technology and healthcare entities strongly preferred. • Experience Leading teams • Demonstrated leadership skills in a matrixed environment. • Demonstrated ability to create and facilitate executive-level presentations. • Strong leadership skills and team player mentality. • Excellent large and small group facilitation skills • Proactive self-starter with a dynamic and resilient nature, high degree of adaptability and flexibility to excel in a dynamic fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and solve problems. • Proactive identification and communication of issues that may impede an initiative and the ability to use critical thinking skills to determine alternative solutions • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment department. • Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills. • Exceptional written and oral communication skills. • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence. • Understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and leading practices, with an eye towards execution • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite and experience leveraging tools to develop work plans, articulate complex issues, analyze data, and structure information • Ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans, socialize and deploy them, including executive-level communications (PowerPoints, email, etc.) • Proactive individual, able to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Strong written/oral communication & interpersonal skills • Excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work across the organization to break down silos and help the business -think like- and -communicate like- a cohesive entity • Able to quickly forge effective working relationships with a variety of personalities • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle Benefits: • Medical • Dental • Vision • Life • Disability • Healthcare FSA • Dependent Care FSA • Limited Healthcare FSA • FSAs for Transportation and Parking & HSAs • Paid Time Off • 9 observed holidays • Paid family leave
