Full Description

Job Description: • Manages employees by supporting, coaching, training, assisting with time management and performing evaluations; should conduct regular meetings with all direct reports. • Manages day-to-day teammate relations operations, including oversight of performance management, clinical termination process, and investigations to ensure process consistency and alignment with departmental standards. • Provides case management support by evaluating workload distribution, reassigning cases as needed, and directly handling complex or high-risk teammate relations issues. • Supports the development of KPIs and performance targets through quality observations and analysis of teammate relations trends, contributing to continuous improvement of team operations. • Delivers training and education to people leaders on key topics such as impairment, accommodations, and documented discipline to strengthen leadership capability and ensure compliance. • Advises business leaders on performance management and policy application, providing coaching and recommendations on remediation, corrective action, and termination decisions. • Conducts and provides backup for investigations and performance cases, ensuring a fair, timely, and thorough process that aligns with company policies and legal requirements. • Applies employment law and internal policy guidance to support business decisions and reduce risk, escalating issues to senior leaders or Legal when necessary. • Partners with internal stakeholders, including Legal, HR Business Partners, Compliance, and Communications, to align on case handling and issue resolution strategies. • Tracks and reports teammate relations case trends, completing root cause analysis and offering recommendations for proactive interventions and business leader education. • Identifies and creates internal process improvements, contributing to enhancements in teammate relations procedures, documentation practices, and team capability-building efforts. Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.- Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University or an equitable combination of education and progressive experience required.- 5 years of progressive human resources experience in a mid-to-large company, including employee relations experience required.- Experience working in a healthcare system a plus.- Experience leading a team preferred.- Oracle a plus- Service Now (SNOW)- SharePoint- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills including advanced communication skills.- Ability to solve complex problems and use independent judgment.- Organization, time management, project management and presentation skills.- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and track record of high quality, accurate work under significant pressures.- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.- Communicate and interact with leaders, including executives, across the organization as well as mentor, coach and guide them on teammate relations related issues.- Case management tracking software experience preferred.- Microsoft Office Suite Benefits: At Envision Healthcare, we offer benefits at the speed of your life.
