IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT MANAGER Program Overview Moms Clean Air Force is a community of over 1.5 million moms and dads united to protect our children’s health from air pollution and our changing climate. We fight for Justice in Every Breath, recognizing the importance of equitable solutions in addressing air pollution and climate change. Through a vibrant network of state-based community organizers, we work on national and local policy issues. Our moms meet with lawmakers at every level of government and on both sides of the political aisle to build support for equitable, just, and healthy solutions to pollution. We consider ourselves “Mompartisan.” Protecting children’s health is a nonpartisan issue. Overall Function The Implementation Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the operational needs of the organization, facilitating effective execution of budgetary processes, grants, contract management, and onboarding/offboarding activities. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Implementation and Justice, the Implementation Project Manager will maintain seamless coordination across internal teams and stakeholders to meet the organization’s objectives. Location Remote-US Home Travel 10% - Occasional overnight travel. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and monitor project budgets, facilitating accurate tracking of expenses, forecasting, and alignment with organizational goals. Manage the contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and executing contracts with vendors, partners, and service providers. Maintain compliance with organizational policies and accurate records of agreements. Manage invoices, enabling timely and accurate payments to vendors and service providers, working with the finance and accounts payable teams to resolve any payment-related issues. Streamline onboarding and offboarding processes for staff, interns, and contractors. Coordinate orientation, provide access to necessary tools and resources, and manage offboarding documentation. Support grant management by preparing applications, conducting research, and coordinating tracking and reporting with grant managers to ensure timely, accurate submission. Manage email accounts, responding to inquiries and entering information into internal tracking systems with attention to detail and accuracy. Provide cross-functional administrative support and drive process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, team performance, and collaboration. Actively support team meetings by managing agendas, documenting key takeaways, and tracking follow-up actions to support accountability. Maintain oversight of inventory and manage the distribution of materials for use in the field and at events, and handle related data entry and tracking in Quorum to support field operations and events Provide logistical support for projects, campaigns, and events, including travel, scheduling, vendor communication, and material preparation. Contribute to strategic planning and process development to support long-term organizational and program goals. Participate in advancing EDF organizational effectiveness and culture goals in which people from all backgrounds and experiences feel connected, included, and empowered to address the environmental and organizational challenges in alignment with EDF values. Perform other relevant duties as assigned to support organizational objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in operations, project management, Finance, or a related field. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven experience managing budgets, contracts, invoices, and operational processes. Results-oriented, proactive individual with the ability to think strategically and carry out responsibilities in a timely and effective manner with minimal supervision. Proficiency in grant management software and database systems. Proficiency in project management tools and financial tracking software. Demonstrates self-awareness, cultural competency, and inclusivity, and ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
