About the position Entrada is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company aiming to transform the lives of patients by establishing a new class of medicines that engage intracellular targets that have long been considered inaccessible. Our Endosomal Escape Vehicle (EEV™)-therapeutics are designed to enable the efficient intracellular delivery of a wide range of therapeutics into a variety of organs and tissues, resulting in an improved therapeutic index. Through this proprietary, versatile and modular approach, Entrada is advancing a robust development portfolio of RNA- and protein-based programs for the potential treatment of neuromuscular and ocular diseases, among others. Our lead oligonucleotide programs are in development for the potential treatment of people living with Duchenne who are exon 44, 45, 50 and 51 skipping amenable. Entrada has partnered to develop a clinical-stage program, VX-670, for myotonic dystrophy type 1. The Manager, Early Innovation & Scientific Strategy will play a critical role in shaping Entrada’s early-stage pipeline by supporting strategic assessment of new indications, gathering external insights, and translating emerging scientific data into actionable development recommendations. This individual will roll into the Business Development unit, and report to the Director of Strategic Alliances and Portfolio Innovation. You will work with cross-functionally with internal teams including scientific strategy, competitive intelligence, R&D scientific teams, and external experts. You are a creative problem solver who brings clarity and strategic thinking to complex scientific and business questions. Responsibilities • Conduct structured evaluations of potential new indications, including disease biology, patient populations, unmet needs, standard of care, competitive landscape, and therapeutic rationale. • Develop indication scoring frameworks or decision models to inform program prioritization with R&D and business leadership. • Translate scientific concepts into clear strategic implications for pipeline fit and development paths. • Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic experts, and clinical investigators to inform program hypotheses and development strategy. • Prepare background materials, discussion guides, and summaries from KOL interactions to guide internal strategic discussions. • Monitor evolving scientific and clinical trends relevant to target indications or modalities. • Analyze internal experimental data, translational findings, and preclinical results to identify development opportunities, gaps, or next-step experiments. • Develop clear, actionable recommendations for program progression, experimental design, or alliance strategy. • Support creation of strategic narratives, including target product profiles (TPPs), development roadmaps, and go/no-go frameworks. • Work closely with Discovery Research, Program Management, and Business Development to develop integrated early program plans. • Support preparation of materials for internal governance, external collaborators, and Executive Leadership. • Ensure early strategy work is aligned with broader company goals and partnership commitments Requirements • Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, MS, or equivalent) required, biology & physiology (or similar) focus preferred. • 3+ years of experience in biotech/pharma in roles such as program strategy, competitive intelligence, translational science, or management consulting with a life sciences focus. • Strong scientific literacy with the ability to interpret preclinical and translational data. • Experience interacting with external experts or KOLs is strongly preferred. • Experience conducting indication assessments and/or evaluating disease biology. • Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information into clear, structured recommendations. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
