Description of the Position We are seeking civil engineers with strong technical backgrounds and leadership skills to support and manage infrastructure projects. Candidates may be considered for Project Manager, Engineer IV, Engineer V, or Hydrologic & Hydraulic Engineer roles depending on experience and interests. You will be responsible for advancing projects from concept through construction documents and permitting, collaborating with clients and agencies, and ensuring high-quality technical deliverables. Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Lead or support project design, scheduling, and delivery. • Prepare civil engineering drawings and construction documents (Civil 3D and/or MicroStation). • Develop grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and hydrologic/hydraulic design calculations. • Direct CAD technicians and junior staff. • Prepare permit applications, cut sheets, and cost/quantity estimates. • Conduct construction observations and provide related services. • Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and agencies during design reviews. • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required). • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado (preferred, required for PM/Engineer V). • 5+ years of civil engineering design experience (minimum; senior roles require 10+). • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation. • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with clients/agencies. • Project management experience strongly preferred for PM role. • Advanced expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, and modeling tools preferred for H&H Engineer role. Salary Range $65,000 – $190,000 annually, depending on role, experience, and credentials.
