What You'll Do: - You will manage all phases of IT project lifecycles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. - You will coordinate with internal teams and external clients to define project requirements and deliverables. - You will develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project execution. - You will identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. - You will lead project status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders. - You will ensure compliance with organizational standards and government regulations. - You will mentor junior project managers and team members to foster professional growth. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience managing IT projects in a consulting or government contracting environment. - Proven expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. - Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity principles. - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - PMP or equivalent project management certification is required. - Experience working with federal government clients is highly preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Navy, Army, or NASA projects. - Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations and compliance standards. - Advanced certifications such as PgMP or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP). - Technical background in cloud computing or cybersecurity.
