At ENT Specialists of North Florida and Meier Plastic Surgery, as a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to promptly complete all activities accurately, and with high quality. Responsibilities • Interview patients and document medical history in EMR • Patient vitals • Prepare and clean examination rooms and medical instruments • Assist during medical examinations • Respond to patient inquiries via telephone and the patient portal • Complete and follow up on provider-assigned tasks • Follow-up on prescription refill requests • Restocking examination rooms • Follow-up on other various tasks as assigned by the Clinical Manager Skills • Proven working experience as a medical assistant • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work • Social perceptiveness and service-oriented • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Bilingual speaking preferred • Strong organizational and planning skills • Experience in Plastics and Otolaryngology (ears, nose & throat) preferred • Experience with pediatrics, adolescents and adults preferred Qualifications • Medical administrative support • Basic life support certification • Patient service experience • Proficiency in EHR systems • Strong knowledge of medical terminology • Ability to perform intake and vital signs • Excellent communication and time management skills Benefits • Health insurance • Paid time off • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • 401(k) • Life insurance • Disability insurance • Employee assistance program • Referral program • Health savings account • Flexible savings account • Pet insurance • Quarterly bonus • Anniversary bonuses • 7 paid holidays a year • Employee discounts on selected cosmetic procedures • Uniform provided • OPEN TO RECENT COLLEGE GRADUATES INTERESTED IN MEDICAL ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE PRIOR TO PA OR MED SCHOOL.
