Job Description Payments are at the heart of Ensora Health’s growth. As the Payments Program Manager, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of integrated payment solutions that power behavioral health, mental health, rehabilitation, and physical therapy practices across our SaaS platform. You’ll own the roadmap for our payments ecosystem, driving innovation, scalability, and compliance while ensuring a best-in-class experience for providers and patients. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking payments leader with deep experience in healthcare and fintech who thrives in shaping high-impact programs that move money efficiently and securely. Responsibilities • Define and lead the enterprise payments strategy and multi-year roadmap covering card-not-present, ACH, and card-present transactions • Architect a scalable payments platform that supports multiple practice management systems and future acquisitions • Drive the transition from processor-specific integrations to a unified payments microservice, aligning priorities across engineering, finance, and operations • Manage relationships with payment processors and vendors to improve authorization rates, optimize pricing, and enhance compliance performance • Develop and standardize operational best practices for settlements, reconciliation, disputes, and fraud management • Establish analytics frameworks to measure payment performance, reliability, and financial outcomes that guide executive-level decisions • Partner with legal, security, and compliance teams to maintain PCI DSS v4.0, HIPAA, and NACHA standards • Collaborate across engineering, product, and operations to deliver secure, scalable, and revenue-generating payment solutions • Serve as the internal payments expert, mentoring peers and driving consistency in standards, documentation, and tooling Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 8 or more years of experience leading payment strategy, integrations, or platform architecture in SaaS or fintech environments • Proven success implementing enterprise payment technologies and managing large cross-functional initiatives • Strong knowledge of card-not-present and ACH/NACHA payments, including healthcare billing workflows • Experience working within Payment Facilitator, ISO, or marketplace models • Demonstrated ability to align technical and business stakeholders toward shared outcomes • Analytical and data-driven mindset with exceptional communication and influencing skills • Familiarity with PCI, HIPAA, and NACHA compliance frameworks Additional Information While we've outlined some key qualities we typically seek, it's essential to remember that there might be additional unique strengths and talents you possess that would make you an exceptional match for us, even if they're not explicitly mentioned.
