Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. Duties • Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for delivery purposes. • Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques. • Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while ensuring compliance with all traffic laws. • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally. • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational efficiency. • Assist in warehouse operations when necessary, including inventory management and organization. Requirements • Experience as a delivery driver or in route driving is preferred. • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. • Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, including knowledge of load/unload procedures. • Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job. • Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
