Review and update failed bills and claims, resolve claim issues, handle billing documentation, contact patients and insurance, and train staff.
1-3 years experience, CPB certification, billing experience with multiple payers, proficiency in Excel, typing test, and ability to conduct training.
Description: • Reviews/Updates failed bills & claims on host system and within billing vendor • Works daily electronic submissions (or 277's) resolving claim issues • Monitors daily claims errors and resolutions providing recommendations on systems fix's going forward • Works daily late charges & rebills • Bills hardcopy claims attaching any needed documentation for payment • Pulls EOB's and Medical Records as needed attaching to claims and mailing • Contact patients, insurance, any third party for insurance information or any additional billing data • Creates training documents/tests • Train educate staff, providing testing • Work absentee staffing desk's Requirements: • 1 to 3 Years desired work experience • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience desired education • 2 years of an accredited degree or equal experience • Must also be CPB Certified • Internal candidates must have achieved 100% productivity and 95 % quality assurance for the prior 3-month period • Must have billing experience on multiple payers or a SME on one payer • Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Must pass typing test of 35 words per minute (error adjusted) • Must be able to provide a mock training session for the interviewer(s) Benefits: • Bonus Incentives • Paid Certifications • Tuition Reimbursement • Comprehensive Benefits • Career Advancement • Associate Benefits – comprehensive healthcare, time off, retirement, and well-being programs • Recognition – quarterly and annual incentive programs
