What You'll Bring to Engine: We're looking for someone who's ready to make an impact and grow alongside us: Experience: 8+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, with a strong combination of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and industry experience, and extensive, in-depth, and hands-on knowledge of U.S. GAAP ASC 740. An active CPA license is required. Skills: You're a problem-solver with excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax matters to leadership. You have proven experience managing federal and multi-state corporate income tax compliance for complex organizations and demonstrated ability to build and improve processes in a fast-paced environment. Tech-Savvy: Bonus points if you have experience in a high-growth technology or e-commerce company and deep expertise in managing federal R&D tax credits and NOLs (including Section 382 analysis). A Master's in Taxation or JD/LLM is also a plus. Mindset: You're ready to roll up your sleeves, collaborate, and deliver results that matter, thriving in a dynamic, high-growth environment where you can make a significant impact.
