We are looking for an Operations Analyst to be part of the Enrollments, Settlements, and Payments team who will be considered a subject matter expert in the market(s) they support. This individual should proactively identify and solve problems with little to no guidance. In addition, this role requires individuals to communicate effectively, at a high level, with all functional groups including executive management. Success in this role requires the continual review and improvement of existing processes and procedures, particularly as the company implements new and upgraded support systems. Based on candidate location, our primary preference is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence at our Baltimore, MD location three days per week (Tues/Wed/Thurs). Our secondary preference is remote. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Enroll assets in ISO/Utility markets, settle and/or shadow-settle events and test events, and report on both asset- and portfolio-level compliance. * Manage the calculation and submission of customer payments. * Provide support or leadership on system and process improvement initiatives. * Work closely with internal teams on all audit requests received from the ISO/Utility. * Report out the relevant financial impact of market operations with the highest level of accuracy for both internal and external reporting. * Develop customized reporting for customers and assist in maintaining executive level market summaries as needed. Requirements * BS or BA degree in business related field such as Marketing, Finance, Management or Economics required. A technical or engineering degree may also be considered. * Advanced degree in a business-related field such as Master of Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance is preferred. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. * Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Access and Outlook, VBA and/or Python experience a strong plus). * Strong mathematical and analytical skills and the ability to apply these concepts to practical business situations. * Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. * Excellent attention to detail. * Ability to work both independently and with other team members to accomplish assigned tasks. * Energy-related experience or education a plus, but not required. * All applicants must be able to provide documentation that they are legally eligible to work in the United States for an extended period, and will not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for employment visa status to work legally for our Company in the United States.
