The Account Manager will drive expansion revenue by managing a portfolio of high-value accounts and generating significant net new ARR through upsells and cross-sells. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and lead commercial negotiations.
Candidates should have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a SaaS or tech-enabled business. Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage complex deal cycles.
To support this growth, Enertiv is seeking to hire an experienced Account Manager focused exclusively on driving expansion revenue. This individual will manage a portfolio of high-value accounts and be directly responsible for upsells, cross-sells, and commercial growth initiatives. The role will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership to identify and capture new revenue opportunities within existing client portfolios. This position reports directly to the VP of Client Success and can be based remotely within the U.S. This role represents a unique opportunity to join a fast-moving, mission-driven team that’s helping decarbonize and modernize the real estate industry. Primary Responsibilities Drive Expansion Revenue Consistently generate $500K+ in net new ARR annually through upsells, cross-sells, and strategic account growth initiatives. Identify Growth Opportunities Leverage data, client insights, and internal partnerships to surface and prioritize commercial opportunities across your book of business. Develop Executive Relationships Build strong, trust-based relationships with decision-makers and senior stakeholders to position Enertiv as a strategic growth partner. Partner with CS, Sales & Product Collaborate with the cross functional teams on opportunity strategy and with Product to align offerings with client needs and market trends. Lead Commercial Negotiations Own the end-to-end expansion sales cycle within existing accounts — from opportunity development through pricing, proposals, and contract execution. Qualifications Proven track record of meeting or exceeding expansion/upsell revenue targets in a SaaS or tech-enabled business. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify client needs and align solutions to deliver measurable business value. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior executives and decision-makers. Ability to manage complex deal cycles across multiple stakeholders. Experience in energy or ESG is a plus.
