EnerMech is seeking a Warehouse & Supply Chain Intern to support its Geographies (GEO) operations in Houston. This internship provides structured, hands-on exposure to warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, mobilization/demobilization, certification coordination, and ERP-based supply chain processes. This role is designed for students pursuing a career in supply chain, logistics, operations, procurement, or warehouse management. The intern will rotate across multiple GEO functions, gaining real operational experience while supporting live projects and day-to-day warehouse activities. Job Description: Assist with the creation, tracking, and review of Purchase Orders (POs). Support transportation coordination, including 18-wheelers, flatbeds, lowboys, and hot-shot carriers. Prepare and verify shipping documentation, delivery notes, and cargo check sheets. Support outbound staging, container loading, and overall shipment readiness. Participate in required operational training (e.g., Forklift, Rigger, A+), as applicable. Receive materials in the ERP system (Microsoft Navision) and verify quantities and condition against POs and packing lists. Communicate receipt status, discrepancies, and issues to internal stakeholders. Support open PO reviews and identify recurring issues impacting receiving accuracy. Assist with process improvement initiatives across receiving, procurement, and inventory workflows. Support project kickoff meetings, scope reviews, and material readiness planning. Pull, stage, and kit hoses, major equipment, tools, fittings, and consumables for projects. Maintain and update Load-Out Lists (LOL), Obeya boards, and tracking tools. Verify calibration status and certification readiness prior to shipment. Assist with System Integration Tests (SITs), final inspections, and shipment approvals. Receive, inspect, and process returning project and rental equipment. Perform demobilization activities, including cleaning, painting, re-kitting, and inventory verification. Inspect hoses, fittings, and related assets for integrity and compliance. Apply 5S methodology to kits, toolboxes, storage areas, and warehouse layouts. Learn and support certification requirements for equipment such as gauges, PRVs, manifolds, hoses, umbilicals, hydroblasting equipment, chart recorders, flowmeters, sling frames, and related assets. Assist with QR code labeling, documentation control, manual organization, and chemical etching. Support vendor coordination, quote requests, delivery tracking, and performance monitoring. Assist with ISO 9001 compliance activities and certification tracking. Perform daily inventory transactions, reporting, spot checks, and cycle counts. Support min/max inventory level management and system accuracy. Apply bin labeling, color coding, and visual management standards. Work closely with GEO supervisors, warehouse leadership, and cross-functional teams. Assist in running Obeya meetings, including updates, action tracking, and meeting minutes. Support continuous improvement initiatives across GEO operations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard environment. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Supply Chain & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Procurement, Warehousing / Distribution, Business (Logistics or Operations focus) Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation Strong communication skills and willingness to learn Prior exposure to warehouse, logistics, or industrial environments Ability to work safely in a warehouse and yard environment Basic computer proficiency (Excel, email, data entry) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Real-world exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations Hands-on experience with ERP-driven warehouse processes Understanding of mobilization, demobilization, and asset lifecycle management Practical application of 5S, Obeya, and continuous improvement practices Experience working within a high-accountability operational team
