With offices in major cities including New York City, Rochester, Chicago, Portland, Seattle, and Los Angeles, EIP is committed to driving sustainable energy solutions and fostering long-term partnerships nationwide. Role Overview: As a Business Development Director at EIP, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our portfolio by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the energy infrastructure sector. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive growth and support the company’s strategic objectives. What You'll Do: - You will identify and pursue new business opportunities in the energy infrastructure market. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. - You will lead negotiations and close deals that align with EIP’s growth strategy. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions for clients. - You will monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies. - You will prepare and present business proposals and reports to senior management. - You will represent EIP at industry conferences and networking events. - You will manage a pipeline of potential projects and ensure timely follow-up. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development within the energy or infrastructure sectors. - Proven track record of successfully closing complex deals and managing client relationships. - Strong understanding of energy markets, infrastructure projects, and regulatory environments. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to travel approximately 30% to meet with clients and attend industry events. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with renewable energy projects. - Established network within the energy infrastructure industry. - Familiarity with financial modeling and project financing. - Experience working in a remote or nationwide role.
