Overview We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our brand presence and engage with our audience. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of social media platforms. You will be instrumental in driving our digital marketing efforts, fostering relationships with our community, and creating compelling content that resonates with our target audience. Duties • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. • Create engaging content tailored to each platform, including graphics, videos, and written posts. • Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Suite for scheduling and managing posts. • Monitor social media trends and conduct social listening to understand audience preferences and behaviors. • Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of campaigns. • Conduct keyword research to optimize content for SEO and improve visibility. • Manage public relations efforts through social media channels to enhance brand image. • Collaborate with graphic designers for branding initiatives and ensure consistency across all platforms. • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner. • Oversee e-commerce initiatives through social media advertising campaigns including Facebook Advertising. • Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines. • Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, social media management, and video editing. Requirements • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, video editing software, and graphic design principles. • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research tools. • Familiarity with social media marketing strategies including paid advertising campaigns. • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. • Strong analytical skills to interpret data from web analytics tools for strategic decision-making. • Exceptional proofreading skills with attention to detail in all written communications. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. • A passion for photography is a plus along with an understanding of branding principles.
