Job description: Overview EMPRO is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team in our Grand Prairie warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods through our warehouse and ensuring that inventory is managed effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, including experience with various equipment and systems. Duties • Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels. • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and order fulfillment. • Perform picking and packing of orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the shipping process. • Assist in stocking shelves and organizing products within the warehouse. • Follow OSHA safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Skills • Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and best practices. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. • Ability to perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks safely. • Previous experience in a warehouse setting or similar environment is preferred. • Understanding of packaging standards and shipping & receiving protocols. • Excellent attention to detail for order picking and packing accuracy. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
