Full Description

Role: Google Cloud Platform DevOps Cloud SME Locations: 100% Remote Duration: 12+ Months Contract Work Experience and Skillset: • Min of 8 Yrs. experienced in working with Google Cloud Platform (Google cloud certification like Professional Cloud Architect or Associate Cloud Engineer would be preferred) • Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, GKE, Container Registry/Artifact, Cloud Run function) • Min of 5 Yrs. experience with IaC (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, Cloud SDK) • Must have hands on working experience on automation tools like Terraform (Terraform certified will be preferred.) • Experience in writing CI/CD for applications and infrastructure (Cloud Build, Jenkins, Git, Github, Sonarqube, Team city, Nexus etc.) • Experience in working with various Google Cloud Platform services like DNS, Network, LB, firewall, NAT, BQ, cloud function, cloud run and Google Cloud Platform analytics services etc • Experience in using monitoring tools (Cloud Monitoring and 3rd party) • Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Like Shell, Python etc) • Basic DevSecOps skills • Experience in user and permissions management (IAM) • Excellent knowledge of the English language including documentation • Experience in secrets management using tools like Hashicorp Vault or Secret Manager is a plus Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Designing and implementation of Google Cloud Platform infrastructure using Terraform • Automation of recurring processes • Working closely with development teams and implementing CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications • Containerizing applications and orchestrating containers • Designing and implementation of application environments tease development, testing, and release processes • Monitoring the infrastructure and application for improvements • Maintaining and upgrading current processes • Proposing changes that add value tclients Shivam Kumar Technical recruiter | Empower Professionals ...................................................................................................................................... | Phone: x 336 | | Fax: 100 Franklin Square Drive Suite 104 | Somerset, NJ 08873 Certified NJ and NY Minority Business Enterprise (NMSDC)
