8+ years eCommerce experience with 3+ years leadership, demonstrated Amazon seller central success, preferred Shopify Plus expertise, strong analytical and project management skills, and a relevant bachelor's degree.
The Director Performance Marketing & Strategy is a data-driven leader who will oversee and drive our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce strategy across all DTC platforms including Amazon 3P, marketplaces, and our company website. Ensuring alignment with our broader omnichannel strategy. This role is critical in driving e-commerce growth while collaborating and supporting cross functional alignment with retail/brick-and-mortar success, maximizing DTC sales, profit, and market share, while protecting our premium pricing strategy and minimizing grey market activity. In this position, you will leverage data insights and provide lower & mid funnel DTC media strategy to support growth, while continuously analyzing performance to enhance and improve performance. You will lead the DTC demand generation strategy with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for providing ongoing analysis to support growth initiatives, ensuring that strategies are rooted in performance metrics and consumer insights. By aligning with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that e-commerce growth complements our omnichannel business and that all initiatives are guided by robust data analysis. Essential Functions: DTC/Amazon Performance Marketing • Lead strategy & tactical execution of lower funnel, conversion media on Amazon Advertising (Search, DSP, Display, Performance Plus, etc.), Google, Bing, Programmatic Display, and Social Selling (TikTok Shop) • Partner with the brand teams on advertising allocation, product prioritization, phasing as well as influencing upper funnel/brand marketing executions • Partner with the Amazon ads team and agency partners to drive traffic, incremental sales, organic performance, and share growth Analytics and Business Management • Manage Ecommerce analytics resource to understand consumer behavior and report out regularly on business and media performance (Build KPI dashboard) • Monitor & Optimize core KPIs: NTB, ROAS, Conversion rate, TACoS, • Coordinate with DTC Sales Ops team on tactical impact on forecasting and inventory management • Partner with Sales Ops team on Pricing and Promo strategy and impact on the omnichannel business • Manage your budget judiciously and effectively to deliver both top and bottom-line results Leadership & Team Management • Build and mentor performance marketing and analyst team - building learning plans and organizational visibility for direct reports and associates • Partner with external agencies, creative, brand marketing, operations, & peers on the DTC team to align on strategies, priorities and drive against our goals. • Foster a consumer-first, data-driven, and solution-oriented culture This role offers the opportunity to lead the digital transformation of our e-commerce platforms, with a key emphasis on leveraging data to drive growth while supporting omnichannel success. SKILLS & ABILITIES • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field (MBA Preferred); or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required • 8+ years eCommerce experience required • 3+ years in a direct leadership role • Several years of demonstrated Amazon.com seller central success, as well as experience with other 3rd party marketplaces required • Expert experience with ChannelAdvisor and Shopify Plus, preferred • Experience administering with Shopify Apps, SAP, Domo, middleware, and management of multiple 3rd party agencies and saas, preferred • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills #PRO
