OVERVIEW The Programmer Analyst will design, develop, and deliver custom programs to support critical business functions and deliver operational efficiencies. Working within an Agile environment, the Programmer Analyst will work to accurately size programming requests, ensure that they are ready for development, and then deliver a regular velocity of development. Additionally, the Programmer Analyst will be a key resource for Symitar core system knowledge and configurations, including but not limited to core programming requests, core configuration changes, and troubleshooting core-related issues. QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge Of: Symitar core software and integrations, PowerOn programming language Ability To: Work on multiple projects, strong problem-solving ability. Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test, and modify computer programs and integrations. Arrange programming project requirements by analyzing requirements, incuding as needed preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic. Document requirements and updates to the system Process confidential data and information according to guidelines Develop reports and provide analysis Support the Symitar core system, including core programming requests, core configuration changes, and troubleshooting core-related issues. Maintain and update the reporting environment, including data sources. Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements. Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization. Generating, updating, and refining reports from single or multiple systems. Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports. Project Participation Participation in the Agile environment and processes: Backlog grooming to ensure programming requests are properly reviewed to be ready for inclusion in sprints Sprint planning to accurately size programming requests and plan sprint velocity Sprint review/retrospectives to analyze outcomes and discuss improvements Continuous improvement through upskilling and process feedback Consistently complete committed velocity REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline, or equivalent experience and a minimum of two years of related experience in programming and/or Symitar core operations. License or Certification: Bondable Acceptable Credit History Pay Range USD $65,280.00 - USD $98,022.00 /Yr.
