JOB TITLE: Marketing and Business Analyst POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing & Business Analyst plays a key role in analyzing marketing effectiveness, pricing strategy, and business performance across the organization. This role works closely with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and leadership to provide insights that support growth and profitability. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across teams, analyzing complex data, and turning insights into actionable recommendations. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Pricing Strategy & Analysis · Analyze pricing structures for plumbing, heating, and HVAC manufacturers · Support development and maintenance of pricing matrixes · Monitor competitor pricing and market trends · Update and maintain the company’s computer systems with current pricing, customer-specific discounts, and promotional offers. · Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing for profitability Marketing Analysis · Track and analyze marketing performance across channels (Google Ads, social media and website analytics, MailChimp, etc.) · Support campaign planning and budgeting with analytical insights · Create sales and marketing materials · Graphic design basics (Adobe Design Suite) · Create dashboards and reports to communicate marketing performance Business & Operational Analysis · Analyze customer behavior, service mix, and seasonal demand trends · Support revenue forecasting and capacity planning · Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer retention · Assist leadership with ad-hoc analysis and decision support Data & Reporting · Work with ERP and marketing platforms (JD Edwards) · Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across systems · Develop and maintain recurring reports and dashboards for leadership QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS · Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience) · 1–3 years of experience in marketing analysis, business analysis, pricing analysis, or related roles · Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling) · Understanding of pricing fundamentals and margins · Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment · Strong communication and organizational skills ABOUT EMERSON SWAN Emerson Swan is one of the largest and most well-established representatives of global plumbing and HVAC manufactures in the United States.
