Position Overview: Emerging Tech is seeking a Revenue Cycle Project Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. This role is ideal for an analytical professional with a background in patient accounting, billing, and clinically driven revenue cycle operations. The Revenue Cycle Project Analyst will support workflow validation, functional testing, and deployment stabilization efforts, ensuring seamless integration and operational readiness across the VA’s revenue cycle functions. Key Responsibilities: Support daily Revenue Cycle activities related to patient accounting, billing, and cross-functional, clinically driven processes Provide subject matter expertise across multiple domains, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure integrated revenue cycle and billing operations Support workflow validation and functional testing to verify compliance with VA requirements Collaborate with Change Management teams to identify training and process impacts, contributing to the development of guidebooks, job aids, SOPs, and control assessments Assist with deployment stabilization and sustainment activities, including change control and ticket management Develop and maintain tools for tracking program, project, and task performance, including cost, schedule, and metrics Create routine and ad hoc reports and provide clear written and oral analysis of findings Serve as a backup and provide cross-functional support to team members as needed Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of professional work experience Experience creating, applying, and maintaining tools to track project performance data, including cost, schedule, and outcomes Ability to create and deliver routine and ad hoc reports Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analytical findings clearly Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field (or 8 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree) Preferred Qualifications: Experience in patient accounting and billing operations Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Experience implementing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems What We Offer: Competitive compensation Generous paid time off (PTO) and federal holidays 401(k) plan, health, dental, and vision insurance, and other standard benefits Remote-first flexibility with opportunities for long-term career growth Mission-driven work supporting Veterans and the Department of Veterans Affairs Professional development in federal health IT, program management, and revenue cycle optimization
