Position Overview: Emerging Tech is seeking a Joint Sharing Sites Technical Analyst to support the Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization (FEHRM) program. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with experience in health IT, data analysis, and research support. The Technical Analyst will coordinate and plan technical activities related to deployment options at Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) sharing sites, contributing to pre-planning and operational readiness efforts. Key Responsibilities: Support the coordination, planning, and resolution of technical issues and opportunities for deployment at joint DoD/VA sharing sites Conduct research and data analysis to support decision-making for pre-deployment planning activities Identify, assess, and interpret appropriate data sources to meet project requirements for monitoring, characterization, analysis, and modeling Perform scientific research and technical writing, including drafting, editing, and proofreading project deliverables for both technical and general audiences Ensure documentation meets established government standards and quality requirements Participate in project meetings and workshops, presenting findings and contributing to technical discussions Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across program objectives and deliverables Work independently to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results within established timelines Minimum Qualifications: 4+ years of professional work experience Proficiency in identifying and utilizing relevant data sources for analysis and modeling Experience conducting research and preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical or clinical discipline (or 8 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree) Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or Department of Defense (DoD) Experience implementing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Familiarity with federal health IT standards, policies, and data governance practices What We Offer: Competitive compensation Generous paid time off (PTO) and federal holidays 401(k) plan, health, dental, and vision insurance, and other standard benefits Remote-first flexibility with opportunities for long-term career growth Mission-driven work supporting Veterans and federal health modernization initiatives Professional development in data analysis, federal health IT, and program coordination
