Job Title: Exposure Interoperability Data Support Analyst Emerging Tech is seeking an Exposure Interoperability Data Support Analyst to support the Federal Electronic Health Records Modernization (FEHRM) program. This role is ideal for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in health IT standards, interoperability, and federal EHR systems. The Data Support Analyst will provide technical expertise, guidance, and knowledge transfer to FEHRM stakeholders across federal health agencies. The position requires the ability to translate complex health IT standards into actionable workflows, collaborate with standards development organizations, and ensure program deliverables are completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a Data Support Analyst for FEHRM, providing technical guidance, standards expertise, and knowledge transfer to federal stakeholders Translate complex health IT standards, specifications, and legislation into actionable workflows for federal health agencies Collaborate with standards development organizations (SDOs) to represent federal priorities and advocate for solutions aligned with program objectives Review, develop, and provide feedback on HL7 and SNOMED standards, ballots, and implementation guides Conduct research on laws, policies, and technical requirements impacting health IT interoperability Produce clear, professional written materials, presentations, and summaries of analyses, status updates, and recommendations for leadership Assist in testing, validation, and quality assurance of health IT implementations Support analysis of artificial intelligence applications in health IT standards and interoperability Manage, track, and escalate issues, risks, and change requests to ensure timely resolution Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional stakeholders to advance health IT initiatives Contribute to program planning, workflow design, and future state process analysis Support leadership and program teams with strategic documentation, briefings, and administrative tasks as needed Minimum Qualifications: 4+ years of professional work experience Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical/scientific discipline (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree) Knowledge of IT standards development and interoperability, including HL7, FHIR, USCDI, X12, and SNOMED Experience engaging with HL7 or other standards development organizations Experience developing, reviewing, and analyzing health IT standards and implementation guides Ability to communicate technical standards clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work independently and in collaborative team settings Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting federal health agencies, such as DOD, VA, or similar environments Familiarity with Oracle Cerner capabilities, including Millennium®, HealtheIntent, CareAware®, Ignite APIs, Open Engine, and OPENLink™ Knowledge of CommonWell Health Alliance Experience analyzing or integrating artificial intelligence in health IT contexts Background in health informatics Interest in federal health IT policy, legislation, and interoperability strategy What We Offer: Competitive compensation Generous paid time off (PTO) and federal holidays 401(k) plan, health, dental, and vision insurance, and other standard benefits Remote-first flexibility with opportunities for long-term career growth Mission-driven work improving federal health IT and interoperability Professional development in health IT, program management, and emerging technology
