Emerging Tech is seeking a Communications Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Integration Office. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in end-user engagement, accessibility compliance, and communications management. The Communications Analyst will ensure that all program-produced materials, dashboards, websites, and communications meet accessibility standards, track communications initiatives, and escalate issues proactively. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of professional work experience Experience creating, applying, and maintaining tools to track program, project, or task performance data, including cost, schedule, and performance metrics Experience developing routine and ad hoc reports Ability to present analytical findings clearly in both narrative and graphical formats Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or related field (an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree) Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or similar federal healthcare environments Experience implementing electronic health record (EHR) systems Knowledge of 508 accessibility compliance and strategies for integrating accessibility into communications and training materials Key Responsibilities: Support end-user engagement and adoption initiatives for the VA EHRM Integration Office Review and ensure 508 compliance for all materials, including dashboards, websites, and outward-facing communications Collaborate with Change Management and training teams to integrate accessibility compliance into strategies and project plans Proactively track communications initiatives, identify risks, and escalate issues early Develop and maintain tracking tools for communications projects and performance metrics Create routine and ad hoc reports to summarize findings, status, and recommendations Present analytical insights in clear, accessible formats for leadership and stakeholders Assist in optimizing communications processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and engagement Support cross-functional collaboration between project teams, training teams, and leadership What We Offer: Competitive compensation Generous paid time off (PTO) and federal holidays 401(k) plan, health, dental, and vision insurance, and other standard benefits Remote-first flexibility with opportunities for long-term career growth Mission-driven work supporting federal health IT programs Professional development in communications, project management, and federal health IT
