Global Privacy & Cybersecurity Associate Attorney (Class of 2021–2022) Location: New York | Salary: $235,000 – $260,000 A premier law firm is seeking a partnership-track associate with 2–3 years of experience to join its Global Privacy and Cybersecurity practice in New York. This is an outstanding opportunity to build your career in one of the most sophisticated and internationally recognized privacy law teams in the world. What You’ll Do You’ll work alongside leaders in the field on high-profile matters spanning industries and geographies, including: Incident response and breach preparedness, including strategy, notification, and crisis communications Advising clients on compliance with U.S. and global privacy frameworks (e.g., CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA, and emerging AI laws) Responding to regulatory investigations and enforcement actions from agencies such as the FTC, OCR, or state AGs Counseling clients on privacy risk assessments, data governance, and cybersecurity readiness Ideal Candidate Profile 2–3 years of privacy/cybersecurity experience in a law firm, consulting firm, or in-house legal department Strong writing, research, and client communication skills Excellent academic credentials and large law firm experience preferred Collaborative mindset and a desire to grow within a team-oriented, supportive practice New York Bar membership preferred; required within one year of joining Why This Role?
