Position Overview: As Manager, Cloud Operations, you will lead and develop a global distributed team responsible for the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our cloud-based SaaS platforms. You will be accountable for establishing and maturing operational processes, contributing to technical standards and cloud architecture, and building a high-performing team capable of supporting a growing, mission-critical SaaS environment. This role partners closely with Engineering, Architecture, Application Development, Corporate Systems, and external vendors and service providers. Within this ecosystem, you will oversee the delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of our cloud offerings and the environments in which they operate. You will ensure cloud infrastructure is effectively managed, monitored, and optimized, while providing clear leadership, direction, and development for the team executing this work. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, requiring strong cloud operations expertise alongside proven people-management capability. A critical aspect of success in this position is experience leading through rapid growth and transformation, helping evolve an enterprise software organization into a modern, efficient, world-class SaaS business through scalable processes, disciplined operations, and strong technical governance. Work Arrangement: Remote Responsibilities: Lead and develop a team of cloud operations engineers and contractors, setting performance expectations and ensuring accountability for quality and timelines Allocate engineering resources across incidents, service requests, and scheduled deployments based on priority and skill requirements Coordinate with Incident Management, Change Management, and Release Coordination to ensure operational activities are properly staffed and supported Monitor team workload and case status, ensuring accurate tracking and timely updates in Salesforce Review and approve deployments before they reach customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness Serve as the technical escalation point for complex issues, and escalate proactively when risks to service are identified Ensure compliance with security policies and participate in audit activities as required Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure management supporting enterprise SaaS applications. Experience leading or managing technical teams, including contractors or distributed staff. Hands-on experience with Azure platform services (App Services, SQL Database, Monitor, Application Insights). Experience coordinating with ITIL-based service management functions (Incident, Change, Release). Proven ability to create and maintain operational documentation (runbooks, SOPs, process guides). Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel up <10% as business needs require. Role requires the following physical capacity: Sedentary: primarily desk/computer work.
