Software Developer/ Senior Full Stack Developer Candidate Preferred from Raleigh, NC, or Dallas, TX We currently have a contract opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Developer to lend specific subject matter knowledge in Java, Microsoft Azure, and AWS. We are seeking candidates with: - Experience with Hadoop and related technologies (e.g., Hive, HBase, Pig, Spark, Mahout) for processing and analyzing large datasets, along with strong skills in data analysis and visualization. - Proficient in leveraging Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for deploying and managing scalable applications, ensuring high availability and performance. - Extensive software development experience in multiple programming languages, including Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, and PHP, with a strong command of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular. - Familiarity with various databases (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra) and demonstrated critical thinking skills to creatively solve complex problems while delivering high-quality, secure, and performant code. Although this position is remote, there is a first week onsite requirement (M-F) which is mandatory for any selected candidate. Required Skills - Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Experience with Hadoop and related projects (Hive, Hbase, Pig, Spark, Mahout, etc.) - Experience in data analysis and visualizationBS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field - 10+ years total work experience with a minimum of 7+ years post-graduate experience. - Software development experience with multiple general purpose programming languages like: Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, PHP, etc. - Proficient in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript - Familiar with libraries including React, Angular - Experience with multiple types of databases: MySQL, Postgres, Mongo, Redis, Cassandra, etc. - Ability to deliver quality code (security, performance, readability, etc.)
