Full Description

Elite Technical is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer. We are seeking candidates with strong Java (v18 or v21), SpringBoot framework, and Angular (v18+), along with one or both of the following to support two separate projects with our customer, a major Federal Healthcare Insurance organization in Reston VA: (1) Project #1: Hands-on AWS Cloud migration experience, specifically migrating legacy applications to AWS Cloud. Strong Containerization knowledge is required. The selected candidate will participate in our client's AWS Transformational efforts leveraging EKS, Kubernetes. Project #2: Support a MicroService / Micro Frontend project surrounding Angular connections Want to learn more? Then you should contact Elite Technical right away for consideration Required Skills • BS Degree with 6 years of Software Development experience (if no degree, seeking 10 years of total SW Development experience) • AWS Developer related certification is HIGHLY PREFERRED • AWS EKS and S3 is required. Aurora, Kubernetes, or other services is preferred. General understanding of AWS API Gateway is preferred. • MicroService / Micro Frontend experience • Must have support a LEGACY APPLICATION TO AWS MIGRATION EFFORT • Must have experience with Java 18 and/or 21, Angular 18+, Spring Boot Framework, MicroServices, and PostGreSQL • Mongo DB or DB2 is preferred. • Must have Java development experience with ability to develop unit / integration test cases using Junit /TestNg. • Must have ability to understand and work with code developed by other developers. • Must have extensive experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies. • Must have strong experience in continuous integration within DevOps environment. • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English). • Good to have experience working with API Management Tools. • Good to have Experience working with GIT/BitBucket.
