• *Hybrid | Greenwood Village, CO** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and lead initiatives that drive scalability, automation, and operational excellence in cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Kubernetes deployments, a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and experience working with code to support modern development practices. This role requires both technical depth and the ability to collaborate across engineering and operations teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $60 - $70 / hr. w2 Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, testing, and deployment. • Collaborate with developers to optimize release processes, troubleshoot deployment issues, and improve software delivery. • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. • Oversee containerization practices (Docker, microservices) and ensure system scalability and resilience. • Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to maintain high system reliability. • Champion DevOps best practices, including automation, security, and performance optimization. • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers when needed. Requirements: • Proven expertise in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, workflows, and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.). • Development experience — comfortable writing, reviewing, or troubleshooting code in any modern programming language (Python, Go, Java, C#, etc.). • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Helm, etc.). • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management. • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in debugging distributed systems.
