Eleven Recruiting is searching for a Production Supervisor for one of our largest aerospace manufacturing clients, sitting onsite in Montebello CA. This position will oversee daily fabrication operations with a strong focus on press brake forming, welding, and precision fabrication processes. The Production Supervisor will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production, leading a team of skilled fabricators and welders to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals. The ideal candidate brings a balance of technical fabrication knowledge, leadership ability, and production management experience within an aerospace or precision manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate daily activities across fabrication areas including press brake, welding, cutting, and forming. • Plan, prioritize, and assign work orders to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements. • Oversee setup, operation, and troubleshooting of fabrication equipment, ensuring adherence to manufacturing specifications and tolerances. • Verify that in-process and final parts meet all AS9100 / aerospace quality standards before release. • Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve process or equipment issues promptly. • Train, mentor, and evaluate fabrication personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. • Ensure the fabrication area remains clean, organized, and FOD-free, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. • Support process optimization and Lean initiatives, identifying waste and implementing improvements to drive throughput and efficiency. • Review and maintain production documentation including blueprints, travelers, and work instructions to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Monitor labor utilization, productivity, and material usage to support cost and performance targets. • Lead safety meetings, enforce PPE use, and maintain compliance with all company and OSHA safety requirements. • Support new product introductions and prototype builds in collaboration with engineering and operations teams. • Communicate production status, issues, and performance metrics to the Operations Manager daily. Qualifications: • 5+ years of supervisory or lead experience in fabrication, welding, or metal forming within an aerospace or precision-manufacturing environment. • Strong working knowledge of press brake operation, sheet metal forming, MIG/TIG welding, and fabrication tooling. • Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation. • Hands-on understanding of AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality standards and documentation requirements. • Demonstrated success leading teams in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. Education: • High School Diploma required. • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred. • Forklift Certification preferred.
