Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Worker/Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves implementing educational activities, supervising children, and fostering their social and emotional development. The position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Responsibilities • Supervise and care for children in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play • Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers • Monitor children's behavior and apply effective behavior management techniques • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities • Follow all safety protocols, including administering first aid when necessary • Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual requirements • Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education Skills • Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings • Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific needs • First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire • Strong classroom management skills to foster positive behavior • Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members • Patience, compassion, and a nurturing attitude towards young learners • Experience with caregiving, babysitting, nannying, or behavior management is advantageous • Familiarity with early childhood education practices such as infant care, toddler care, and preschool teaching This role is vital in shaping the early educational experiences of young children while providing a safe and supportive environment for their growth.
