Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in our care environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, experience working with children of various ages, and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and supportive atmosphere for children to thrive physically, emotionally, and socially. Duties • Supervise and engage children during play, learning activities, and daily routines • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and early learning skills • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, including administering first aid when necessary • Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care • Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily care routines for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers • Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns • Enforce behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions • Collaborate with other caregivers or teachers to develop individualized care plans Requirements • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings • Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific care techniques • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus • Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and classroom experience is desirable • Ability to care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children including infant care and toddler care • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members • Passion for early childhood education and caregiving responsibilities • Reliable, patient, nurturing, and attentive to individual child needs This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
