Job Description: Construction Estimator / Buyer Position Summary Under the direction of the Principals and Project Manager, the Construction Estimator/Buyer is responsible for developing project scopes, preparing construction estimates, and supporting project planning activities. This role plays a key part in coordinating materials, subcontractors, pricing, and schedules to ensure projects are executed efficiently and in alignment with contract requirements. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with Principals and the Project Manager to define project scope and procure subcontractor bids. • Assist in obtaining up-to-date material pricing and cost data. • Support material sourcing, implementation, and distribution of procurement documents. • Prepare detailed scopes of work for contracts, change orders, and new project opportunities. • Develop and maintain project schedules. • Support project planning and cost-control strategies. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also managing independent tasks. • Energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to taking ownership of responsibilities. • Ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines. • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations. •
